Beginner Course
Beginner Course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of Chinese language and focuses on sound system of Mandarin Chinese, including Pinyin, pronunciation and tones. Students will practise basic daily conversation such as greetings and introductions, names and nationalities, numbers, talking about one’s family and themselves. Students will also start to recognise and write simple characters.
The course will help students to build up their interest and confidence in learning the Chinese language. Listening and speaking skills are developed and students participate in various interactive activities, e.g. language games, group work and role-plays.
